Welcome to the Foundation Stage homepage.

This half term our topic is 'Moving'. It is a topic about forces and transport. We will be designing and making moving vehicles and using finishing techniques to decorate them. We will also be looking at forces and in particular the push and pull force. We will be testing friction by rolling cars down a ramp and measuring how far they go. Outside we will be making dens, using the bikes and scooters to test more forces questions and developing our garden area.

Hello, I am Cecil the Spotty Camel. I will come home with the lucky person who gets star of the week on Friday. Remember to take a photograph of us enjoying ourselves and write on my diary. Please bring me back to school on Monday so you can tell your friends about our weekend together.

These are the 45 words that Foundation Stage children need to be able to read. We will be learning them during phonic sessions and you can help by practising at home. The words are:

I go come went up you day was look
